DSG Solutions is an air quality consulting firm cofounded by David Suess, Ph.D. and Sean Gregory, P.E. in 2007 that specializes in supporting the energy industry and large industrial facilities with their air management and Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS) programs. With offices in Gardner, MA and Shoreline, WA, we work nationwide. Our environmental consulting firm provides regulatory expertise and support with federal and state air quality regulations that involve combustion unit stack exhaust monitoring, testing, recordkeeping, and reporting requirements. Our focus is to support air quality management programs for combustion units equipped with CEMS that are affected by various federal (e.g. 40 CFR 75, 40 CFR 60, 40 CFR 63, 40 CFR 98) and/or state air quality regulations. Our strengths include an extended knowledge of the regulations, working relationships with federal and state agencies, and a detailed understanding of various Data Acquisition and Handling System (DAHS) software packages.
Our clients are typically environmental managers that represent an individual or group of power/steam plants or industrial facilities that are required to oversee complicated air management/CEMS programs. We pride ourselves on working closely with each of our clients to help with any level of support necessary. We can provide one-time services, such as performing a CEMS/Data Acquisition and Handling System (DAHS) air compliance audit, updating a CEMS QA/QC Plan or Part 75 Monitoring Plan, assisting with a state or federal air noncompliance matter, or we can provide comprehensive ongoing air management/CEMS support. Comprehensive support can vary from day-to-day activities to non-routine, site-specific activities and can include items such as preparing required regulatory emissions reports and performing site-specific air management/CEMS/DAHS training for facility personnel, including environmental managers, facility operators and/or CEMS instrument technicians. We also assist with CEMS re/certifications and modifications as well as ongoing regulatory support and guidance.
If you are looking for support of any kind regarding your air management/CEMS program, please give us a call or send us an email. We are here to help with the complicated and ever-changing United States CEMS-related air regulations. Should you have any questions about our company or the services we provide, get in touch with us.
